Children's Activities Awareness Day

Children’s Activities Awareness Day will take place on the 4th of June 2025.

Organised by the Children’s Activities Association (CAA), it’s all about raising awareness that the children’s activities sector is unregulated, and empowering parents, schools, nurseries, and venues to ask providers about their safety and safeguarding practices.

It’s about making those conversations easier, raising standards across the board, and keeping children safe. And it’s led by children’s activity providers themselves!

Our Members are proud to display their CAA Badge - showing they’ve evidenced that they meet the CAA's benchmark.

How to get involved

We are asking everyone to make as much noise as possible across social media. If you’re an activity provider, industry supplier, school, nursery, venue, parent, or carer, please download our social media assets below and share them across all your channels on the 4th June using #ChildrensActivitiesAwarenessDay #CAAD #CAA #ChildrensActivitiesAssociation

We’ll also be sharing lots across our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn channels, so please like, share, and comment as much as possible.

Children’s Activities Awareness Day - 4th June

Did you know the children’s activities sector isn’t governed by the same regulations as schools and nurseries? That it’s mostly unregulated and there’s no official obligation for providers to undergo training or checks? 😲

So how do you know which have?

Easy - ask to see their CAA badge

The Children’s Activities Association (CAA) is an industry-led not-for-profit that supports self-regulation within children’s activities. Every CAA Member has to complete Certification, evidencing that they meet the CAA’s benchmark for safety and safeguarding, before being issued their CAA badge.

I am proud to be a CAA Member!
