Diversity, Belonging, Race and Inclusion

The course will cover:

• Understanding diversity, inclusion, race and belonging
• Demonstrating that your service is inclusive and accessible to all
• Behaviours, attitudes and language around anti-discriminatory practice
• Dealing with discrimination effectively and promptly
• Examining activities (props, resources, etc.) to determine whether they are non-discriminatory
• Developing an anti-discriminatory, anti-racist policy

Laura Henry-Allain MBE is an award-winning international producer, storyteller, educationalist and consultant. She is the creator of the well-loved JoJo and Gran Gran series, developed and produced by CBeebies and is the series’ associate producer.
