Safeguarding Fundamentals and the Safeguarding Fundamentals Quality Mark were created by Antonia Noble, a senior barrister with a global reputation in safeguarding, and inspirational England international footballer Paul Stewart.

Paul’s personal journey from survivor of childhood abuse in the sport to safeguarding advocate, underpins their mission to set a new standard in child protection and welfare. They are passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children, ensuring they thrive in environments that are safe, supportive, and empowering.
